She has been touring around the world for six months, and now Australian fans have been patiently waiting for the Prismatic World Tour to make its way down under.
And kicking off the tour in Perth on Friday night, Katy Perry did not let them down.
The capacity crowd in Perth watched in awe as the Roar singer belted out a two hour long set, and if this show set the standard for the rest of the Australian tour, then fans around the country are in for a treat.

The arena, looking like the inside of a playground with every color of the rainbow shining in different areas of the crowd, was lit up for the duration of her set.
The US performer opened the show to thunderous screams and applause, emerging from a prism in the middle of the stage.
Assisted by her back up dancers, who were dressed in futuristic soldier outfits beaming with glow in the dark patterns, the 30-year-old performed flawless choreographed moves all around the stage, including on and around  the giant prism.

Colour truly was the theme of Perry’s show, as she changed attire throughout the night and returned on stage in outfits that seemed brighter than the last.
In one sequence she wore a space-suit inspired outfit, strutting around stage in a sparkling silver two piece, with her her braided in a pony tail.
Her outfit glowed with lights throughout her performance.

In another, she emerged in a princess themed dress and a blonde curled wig that ran past her shoulders that had dyes of blue, yellow and pink running through it.
Fans old and new of the most followed Twitter user ever will not be disappointed with the set list either, as Perry covers songs across her entire catalogue, including Teenage Dream, Dark Horse, California Girls and her very first single, I Kissed a Girl.
The high energy show did tone down around the middle of the show, when the singer emerged on stage with only back up singers and an acoustic guitar.

Phones around the arena lit up, as the spot light shone on the songwriter, who proved that her tone was better than ever singing to the crowd over the acoustic guitar, who sung along to some of her slower, emotional hits.
Fans who attended on the night flooded Twitter with admiration for the pop star and her incredible show.
Perry will perform at the same arena on Saturday night, before making her way through Adelaide, Melbourne, Sydney and Brisbane.
She will spend the rest of November and the better part of December bouncing around the country performing her show.
Katy will then perform two shows in Auckland, New Zealand on December 19 and 20, before heading home for Christmas.
